Over the years, we have heard from our users that they prefer to stay signed in to ConservationTrack without being interrupted or kicked out due to their secure session timing out. The new version of ConservationTrack will allow you to remain signed in - for up to 7 days. Here is how this works:
1. If you are working on a home or work computer, when you first sign in, select "Keep me signed in" checkbox at the security authentication screen. Checking this option will keep you signed in for one week (7 days). There is no need for you to sign out.
2. If you are working on an unsecure computer - such as the library or a friend's computer - do not check the box "Keep me signed in". That way your session will expire in an hour without you having to log out. However, for security reasons, it is recommended that you sign out and close the browser. To sign out, click on your name in the upper right corner and select "Sign Out". You will be prompted to close your browser.
